What types of lenses do you supply ?

We can supply hand painted, tinted or stamp printed lenses according to your requirements and budget.

What information do you need in order to design a contact lens ?

All we need is a concept of the character - who they are, the role they are going to play, and what they are going to look like as a character.

How quickly can you provide a pair of lenses ?

If lenses are required at short notice we can meet most time schedules. We have been known to fit the actor, design the lenses, have them made, and get them on set in 2-3 days. Rush orders naturally involve extra charges.

Standard delivery is generally 2-3 weeks.

Do you carry sample lenses ?

We have over 1000 sample lenses in many different styles and sizes which we can often use as a talking point and basis for a full design.

Is one set of lenses enough ?

This depends on how often the lenses are to be worn and how important it is that they are immediately available. Most SFX lenses can last for 6-12 months with good care. Lifetime varies depending on opacity and design.

Can the same set of lenses be used on different actors ?

No - this is against all normal hygiene practices. It is also against the law in the UK.
